The Boring Company Brick
When he first announced that he was going to be selling a flamethrower, we thought Elon Musk may have lost his mind a bit – in a good way. His next project is a bit tempered, though definitely is still set to garner some major attention, as he’s revealed that his Boring Company is set to release Lego-inspired life-sized building bricks.
Made from the tunneling rock extracted while drilling underground, these lightweight yet surprisingly strong bricks are said to feature an interlocking design that will allow for quick and easy construction. Musk himself has even claimed that, with these bricks, “two people could build the outer walls of a small house in a day or so.” The first set of the California seismic rated bricks are set to be released in Egyptian-style kits, allowing customers to build pyramids, sphinxes, and perhaps even a temple of Horus (the guardian god). No word on a release date, though we should expect to know more “soon.”
