Tesla Roadster

Elon Musk has had his hands full the last few years, what with SpaceX and his plans to colonize Mars. But his electric car company here on Earth, Tesla, is still making leaps and bounds ahead of their competition. Their latest endeavor: a roadster that just happens to be the fastest production car ever built.

This all-electric lightning bolt of a coupe features some of the most absurd specs we’ve ever seen in a vehicle. That starts with a 0-60 time of just 1.9 seconds – a record-setting number which is enough to give us whiplash just thinking about it. It also has a top speed of over 250 miles per hour and an insane wheel torque rating of over 7,375 foot-pounds. As if that performance isn’t enough, it also gets a range of 620 miles per charge – that’s more than 100 miles over the distance between San Francisco and San Diego. Plus, since it’s a roadster, it also features a removable glass roof, so you can let those hurricane-level winds blow through your hair. Nay sayers be damned – we’ve got a new dream car. Pricing starts at $200,000.

Purchase: $200,000+
