Tesla Model X
After delaying it for several years, Elon Musk and company have finally pulled the curtain back on the Tesla Model X, the world’s first all electric SUV.
It should come as no surprise to anyone that the vehicle looks spectacular, and that panoramic windshield is nothing short of impressive, but it’s more than just a pretty face. This SUV will sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds, while still managing 250 miles on a single charge. To improve safety, Tesla has outfitted the Model X with camera, radar and sonar systems that continuously scan the road, providing real time feedback of what’s going on around the driver. The 7-seater is equipped with a set of falcon wing doors that let passengers easily enter/exit the vehicle in tight parking spaces, and a 17-inch touchscreen command center (complete with voice control) that gives the driver complete control over the onboard system. The new model is currently available for pre-order, and will be delivered during the second half of 2016. Watch the video below for more details. [Purchase]
