Terrain365 Unleashes A Corrosion-Resistant Titanium Mini Butterfly Knife

Between the knife’s association to ne’er-do-wells and criminality, the danger they present to untrained users, and the fact they’re illegal to possess in more places than not, very seldom do we see high-end EDC balisongs popping up on the market. And that’s what makes Terrain365’s stellar Mini-Butterfly Böhler M390 all the more noteworthy.

Born out of a collaboration between Terrain365 and Darriel Caston of Folsom, California’s D Rocket Design, the compact fan knife features a 2.125” drop point-style blade made from Böhler M390 — a martensitic chromium stainless steel alloy produced via powder metallurgy that’s extremely resistant to corrosion and wear. Accompanying the rugged blade are CNC-machined TC4 titanium handles, stainless steel hardware with bronze bushings, and a billet titanium pocket clip and handle latch. Weighing just 1.6oz and measuring 2.75” when closed (4.875” opened), this hardwearing little Manilla folder boasts milled handle fullers; jimping on the blade’s spine; and Terrain365, D Rocket Design, and Böhler branding on the blade. The Terrain 365 Mini-Butterfly Böhler M390 is currently available on the company’s website for $250.
