The folks at Prometheus Design Werks are already known in the everyday carry and outdoor industries for making superb gear — and they’ve even unleashed a few stellar knives. Well, now, founder Patrick Ma and knife maker Michael Vagnino are starting a dedicated knife brand called Terrain 365. And if their first release, the Alpha-HD fixed blade knife, is any indication, we’re in for a real treat.

This new brand is hinging on the platform that all of their blades are completely rust and corrosion proof. And they’re so confident that each and every one is guaranteed for life. The reason for this is because they’re all built with a proprietary metal, called Terravantium Dendritic Cobalt. On top of this exceedingly impressive material, the Alpha-HD fixed blade also features a 500 paracord-wrapped handle — perfect for survival applications — an overall length of 8 inches, and a Kydex sheath for safekeeping. Best of all, this hardcore outdoorsman’s knife is made right here in the USA. You can get one now for $265.

Purchase: $265
