Extensive real-world field-testing has long been a cornerstone of military forces’ research and development process, affording vital feedback and a more tangible understanding of an item’s strengths and limitations. And since its inception in 2013, Ten Thousand has heavily relied on this same form of R&D to create its products, over-engineering its workout-focused wares, and delivering subtle tweaks that make for markedly more high-performance garments.
After taking on a slew of other pieces of workout gear, Ten Thousand has now unveiled its first-ever dedicated running collection with what the activewear brand has christened the “Distance Kit.” Designed with a major focus on comfort, fitment, and a completely unrestricted range of motion, the collection includes a performance pair of shorts and tank top, both composed of an antimicrobial, quick-drying, and moisture-wicking Spandex-infused poly blend crafted with bonded hems. Rounding out the Distance Kit is a pair of medium compression rib socks with strategically-placed zonal cushioning, anatomical arch support, and an XT2 Silver-ion-treated, breathable Spandex-infused poly-nylon blend construction. Offered in a trio of colors and backed by a lifetime warranty, the Ten Thousand Distance Kit is available now with pricing set at $16 for the socks, $54 for the tank, and $72 for the shorts.
