Proudly based in Texas, Tecovas is a small artisan outfit that specializes in producing modern, high-end interpretations of western-style footwear and clothing. And, despite boasting an already robust catalog, Tecovas has now released another contemporary take on the classic cowboy boot with what it’s dubbed “The Knox.”
Designed in Austin before being individually crafted by hand in León, Mexico, these boots are born out of a 200 step process and feature 10” lined shafts cloaked in rugged bison leather uppers that are pieced together using waterproof seams and a ¾ Goodyear welt construction. Tecovas’ first-ever wedge roper boot, The Knox is built atop a 1” Vibram wedge outsole with shallow lugs and sports a dual footbed with a leather liner and removable impact-absorbing polyurethane insoles. These traits afford the Knox with genuine all-day comfort, without sacrificing durability or protection. Offered in Wheat (light brown), Briar (dark brown), or black color options, Tecovas’ The Knox Boots are available now, with pricing set at $215.
