TECHART Boosts Porsche’s 992 To Hypercar Levels With Carbon Fiber & 800HP

The current generation of the Porsche 911, dubbed the 992, is already one of the quickest cars on the market — especially in the Turbo S configuration. But if 640 horsepower and a top speed of 205 mph isn’t fast enough for you, German Porsche tuners TECHART have just the thing for you with their new GTstreet R.

Built on a base 992, the TECHART GTstreet R package turns the venerated sports car into a modern hypercar. The car’s body has been heavily modified to make it lighter and more aerodynamic, with loads of carbon fiber additions that include a new hood and front apron, aero discs on the wheels, and a massive whale tail-inspired rear wing. Power on the Turbo S has been increased to 800 horsepower and 700 lb.-ft. of torque, while the new top speed is an impressive 217 mph. The interior hasn’t been forgotten either as the GTstreet R package includes a luxe mix of leather, Alcantara, and heritage materials inspired by traditional motorsports. The package is customizable and starts at €73,000 (~$87,000), with production limited to 87 units in honor of the year TECHART was founded.

Purchase: $87,000+
