Teahupo’o: Du Ciel Surf Video

Category: Entertainment

Drone popularity has skyrocketed in 2015, and people are finding new uses for them everyday. We’ve seen impressive drone footage before, but this video taken off of the coast of Teahupo’o in Tahiti takes the cake, as far as gorgeous cinematography is concerned.

Everything from the rolling waves to the hills nearby is flawlessly captured via drone. Its breathtaking shots will make you want to grab your surfboard and find some water right now. Even if you’re not a surfer, it’s easy to appreciate the beauty of the ocean being captured by a small, flying unmanned quadcopter. Especially if you’ve ever piloted a drone, you’d realize how difficult capturing some of these surf shots so closely really is.
