It is kind of remarkable the different choices we have when it comes to waterproofed technology. You can either go with the high-tech arty-ninja look that so many seem to embrace, or you can go with the rustic and quaint looking waxed canvas. Each have things to recommend them of course, but when done right – it’s hard to deny how damn good looking waxed canvas can be. Taylor Stitch and Mission Workshop certainly have been embracing this approach with their North Coast line, and more specifically, with their Transit Duffel.

A 31 liter weekender designed for all weather conditions, this can just as easily fit on the front of your bike as it can in the overhead bin on your flight. Featuring a 15-inch laptop sleeve, hide-away grab handles, YKK zippers and a shoulder strap – this American made bag works in almost any situation, whether it be on a crowded subway, or jamming through traffic in the rain. The project has been fully funded on the Taylor Stitch Website, and is estimated to ship in August. Head over to their site to keep updated. [Purchase]
