The Limited-Edition Montreal Watch Honors TAG Heuer’s 160th Anniversary

TAG Heuer knows how to celebrate a birthday, and that’s only been reinforced by its propensity for amazing limited-edition anniversary releases. To spotlight its 160th anniversary, the brand has already launched an initial Carrera variant, paying homage to the trademark HEUER shield, name, and original design. Now, the watchmaker has announced a second 160th-anniversary release — this time, highlighting the influence of one of its most prized 1970s models, the Carrera Montreal.

As you might expect, the Montreal Limited Edition watch takes on the delightful blue hues associated with the original watch. But it doesn’t stop there. It’s blue and red scale flange is also joined by a red central hand, a yellow Super-Luminova hour and minute hand, and an hour chronograph counter, reminiscing the brand’s distinct racing heritage. Of course, all of these features are housed within the company’s vintage 39mm polished stainless steel case and protected by an anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal, providing clear and concise legibility at any time of day. To round things out, TAG Heuer’s 80-hour power reserve, automatic Calibre Heuer 02 movement, and a blue alligator leather strap add their own unique touch to the anniversary variant. Head to TAG Heuer’s website, where the limited-to-1000 model is available now for $6,750.
