TAD Joseph Bowen Micro Hatchet
In case you’ve ever wanted to invest in a hatchet that’s small enough to fit your pocket here’s your chance. San Francisco-based Triple Aught Design is now offering this Joseph Bowen Micro Hatchet that features a micro-Inuit style CTX-HXP Stainless Steel blade and enhanced grip in a compact Ulu design.
The blade boasts aggressive cutting capabilities and is skeletonized to reduce weight and enhance EDC prowess. There’s a large center hole to aid in various grip positions based on user preferences, working in capacity with both three-finger to reverse grips. It’s manufactured in conjunction with Joseph Bowen, famed blacksmith and professional tattoo artist, and each knife is custom made so no two are exactly alike. The micro hatchet also comes with a Kydex slip sheath designed to be worn around the neck and since the design forces the center of the impact into the middle part of the blade, its small stature will never be a deterrent for cutting through even the toughest of substances such as bone. The Joseph Bowen Micro Hatchet is available now through the TAD site and is priced at $260. [Purchase]
