Cooking outdoors doesn’t always have to be so ordinary; there are other ways of cooking great food without firing up the grill. In fact, there’s an old Scandinavian tradition which involves splitting a log into 4 sections, lighting the center on fire, and using it to cook with. Now, there’s a Swedish Log Stovetop to go on top of the log to turn it into a stove.

The Swedish Log Stovetop is a simple tool that weighs just 2.5 pounds and is 1/8 inch thick. It includes 4 steel rods which are used to anchor and stabilize the log. Once the log is lit and the anchor is in place, users can simply use this tool as a stovetop. The Swedish Log Stovetop is available for $52. [Purchase]
