Although it may not be the same dominant player it was back in the late 1900s, the Etch A Sketch still remains one of our all time favorite childhood toys. Originally introduced back in 1960, the toy invented by Andre Cassagnes was dominated by handheld video games, and of course more recently smartphone and tablet application that work in a similar fashion.

All of that didn’t stop artist Jane Labowitch from creating some of the coolest Etch A Sketch artwork we have ever encountered.  Nintendo fans will fall in love with the immensely detailed sketches of some of our favorite childhood video game characters  including Toad, Yoshi, Princess Peach, and of course Mario from the world of Super Mario Bros.
