Subaru WRX Concept
Having owned Bugeye Subaru WRXs during our younger days, we have always been a fan of the brand. For a while they seemed to deviate from what made them so popular in the first place, but this latest Subaru WRX Concept is certainly promising to say the least.
Debuted at the New York Auto Show this week, this thing is nothing more than a concept at this point in time, but Suby has every intention of putting this thing onto the street. The front end has been revamped with a larger grille and angular headlights that provide for a much more aggressive look. The iconic hood scoop remains intact to help bring cool air to that top mount intercooler, while a carbon fiber roof and wider body finish off the aesthetics. Subaru is really getting back to their roots with a set of beautiful BBS RI-D forged one piece Duralumin wheels that are downright sexy. It goes without saying that the Rex will maintain its AWD system. We have our fingers crossed that this thing makes its way to local dealers, but only time will tell.
