In efforts to keep things innovative past the untimely passing of Virgil Abloh, Off-White has unveiled “PAPERWORK,” a line of beauty and grooming products based on timelessness and self-expression. Kicking the new collection off is a set of fragrances that appear as unique as they smell.
The prowess of this new project comes courtesy of the names involved, including esteemed perfumers in Alexis Dadier, Jerome Epinette, and Sidonie Lancesseur, along with Abloh himself, who determined the vision for the line prior to his passing. Each of the four numbered scents in the PAPERWORK line is labeled ‘Solutions,’ so we’ll start in order with the earthy Solution No. 1, which boasts notes of vetiver, patchouli, and, interestingly enough, sand, deeming it the perfect choice to wear when you’re out on the shore. Next up is the citrusy Solution No. 2, a lively option tailored toward the spring with its notes of fresh ginger.
Moving on to the muskier Solution No. 3, it’s made a bit softer with its notes of damask rose. Rounding out this upscale quartet is the woodsy Solution No. 4, which looks to channel “chic streetwear spirit” by fusing notes of black leather, eucalyptus, lavender, and woods. Though rudimentarily named, the true sense of innovation comes courtesy of the collection’s interestingly designed bottle, which is highlighted by a lid meant to resemble a grip control knob.
Each of Off-White’s new fragrances is intended to be genderless, which will also be the case with the rest of the PAPERWORK beauty line as it’s released. The four scents are all available now through Off-White’s online store for $185).
