Whether you’re mountain biking on a steep route, cruising around the city on your daily commuter, or having some fun on your two-wheeler around your neighborhood, you need to protect yourself at all times. Aspiring to improve the protection of cyclists, Studio Accent has combined the very best of open-face and full-face helmets to create the Ventoux Hybrid Helmet Concept.

The lightweight compact helmet provides improved protection thanks to a lower, extended rear section at the back of the head. The durable chin strap creates a lower impact point and the overall design decreases head movement during impact. It’s made up of a polycarbonate shield, carbon fiber armature shell, and polystyrene foam. The Ventoux Hybrid Helmet also has ample airflow and a padded lining with a mesh guard to ensure a comfortable fit. There’s no official word on whether or not this will go into production, but cycling brands everywhere should take note.
