Sometimes plans A through Y don’t go too well, so it is good to have something rock-solid you can reach to when you’re at the end of your rope. Built by CivilWare, this unique and deadly Striker Knife is specifically designed for self defense with big game hunters in mind.

The wavy design of the 1095 carbon steel blade is meant to increase the severity of the wound channel, cutting more quickly, and leaving your target with a wider gash. For a faster draw from the ambidextrous leather sheath, the folks at CivilWare included a finger notch in the micarta handle. The precision ground blade on this fixed knife is four inches long, and the handle just four and a half. Each one is hand made in San Diego, CA, and retails for $150. [Purchase]
