We think the violin is one of the sweetest sounding, most underrated instruments of all time. But what we can’t front on is its dangerously high dork factor. The only famous violin solo we can think of is Charlie Daniels’ in “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” and we’ve yet to see a supermodel on either of his hairy arms.

So that’s what makes these Stratton Skull Violins so enticing. Carved (some of them by hand) with amazing detail, these electric instruments come with Barbera Twin Hybrid bridge pickups with frets and wood stain as options.
