Stochasticity Project Grapefruit Slam IPA by Stone Brewing

In an attempt to explore the limits of imagination along with the concept of randomness through the craft of brewing, San Diego based Stone Brewing (our hometown here) is introducing the Stochasticity Project. For drinkers, this means great new beers to try. First up on the menu is the Grapefruit Slam IPA.

Living right across the street from Stone Brewing is one of the most awesome things we could ever ask for. The brand makes some of the best beer on the market, and they continuously push the envelope with new flavors. This past week we picked up a 22-ounce bottle of their latest creation – a bitter, big-bodied, yet refreshing double IPA that has been infused with hand-zested grapefruit peel, and it doesn’t disappoint. With fresh pine, citrus, and sweet candy aromas filling the air, you’ll be drooling over this 8.2% ABV concoction before your mouth ever hits the glass. [Purchase]
