Steve McQueen’s 1968 Ford Mustang ‘Bullit’ Replica

If you’re an automotive enthusiast, there’s no doubt you’re a fan of the the 1968 classic ‘Bullit.’ Sure Steve McQueen is the man, but let’s be honest for a second, it’s that iconic Mustang that had us drooling through the entire film.

Steve McQueen’s son, Chad McQueen, decided to recreate this classic muscle car, right down to that subtle, yet distinct green paint job. The vehicle looks exactly like the one from the movie, but has been outfitted with modern day technology and conveniences. The 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback is equipped with a 347ci V8 engine putting down 450 horsepower through the 5-speed manual transmission. On the suspension side of things, the Bullit Mustang features RRS front independent suspension along with a rear RRS three-link setup, and 4-wheel disc brakes for improved stopping power. The vehicle recently sold at the auctions for just under $90,000.
