We don’t know how they do it, but somehow Elvis, James Dean, and Steve McQueen continue to maintain their off-the-charts cool quotients, even decades after their deaths.

Mr. McQueen, he of The Sand Pebbles, The Great Escape, and The Magnificent Seven fame, is now posthumously upping his aura with the auction of his one-time 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4. Delivered to him on the set of Bullitt, this customized red beauty will be going to the highest bidder on August 15th at the RM Auctions Monterey event in Monterey, California, on August 15th. We’re hearing it’ll fetch around $10 million, which of course only adds more to the cool factor. [Purchase]
