Steelcase’s Latest Office Collection Shines a Light on Frank Lloyd Wright

Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural prowess speaks for itself but remains one of the most discussed portfolios within its field, regardless. In an attempt to further honor Wright’s genius, furniture brand Steelcase has come together with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to reimagine iconic pieces in an attempt to channel the late architect’s mid-century modern design language.

While the two brands joining forces is a big deal in the world of design, this is far from the first time both names have come together. Frank Lloyd Wright himself first teamed up with Steelcase to help furnish the SC Johnson Administration Building, one of the famed architect’s most notable projects. All in all, each of the innovative designs that outfitted the building has withstood the test of time, proving to be as unique as anything you’ll find in your local furniture store.

The partnership will deliver a variety of conceptual products that will enhance both workplaces and living spaces. Steelcase’s Frank Lloyd Wright Racine Collection features reinterpreted renditions of the iconic chair, desk, and other accessories that were originally used at the SC Johnson Administration Building, which is based in Racine, Wisconsin. The two renditions Steelcase has put forth so far are colored in black and coral.

While you won’t be able to get your hands on this gorgeous furniture just yet, keep an eye out for more news from Steelcase regarding this stunning new collaborative collection.
