At a certain point, you have to start wondering when an electric mountain bike stops being a bike and starts being a motorcycle. We’re not really sure about where that line is, but we are 100% sure that the B-52 bike from Stealth Electric Bikes is one hell of an off-road vehicle (or bike?).

With a top speed of about fifty miles per hour, riders on the B-52 can zoom up hills and through gullies with unmatched ease thanks to its 5.2kW DC brushless engine that drives power (both pedal and electric) through a 9 speed sequential gearbox. For popping over rocks, stumps, and whatever else the trail throws at you, builders of this bike included 10 inches of rear wheel travel and just under 8 inches up front. When riders slow down, the engine in this bike converts the kinetic energy back into electric providing for a longer ride – about 50 miles on a single charge.
