Star Wars Prop Auction

Dec 10, 2018

Category: Gear

Star Wars may end up going down in history as the most successful science-fiction franchise of all time. And a big reason for that is the authenticity of the galaxy portrayed in the films — made possible in large by the on-screen props, models, costumes, and more. And now’s your chance to get your hands on some authentic items that appeared in said films, courtesy of the Star Wars prop auction.

This isn’t just a case of random background characters and set pieces, either. Rather, this auction contains some of the most important and iconic items from the film — including an actual lightsaber held by Mark Hamill and his stunt double in A New Hope, an authentic TIE Fighter pilot helmet, a Scout Trooper helmet, and C-3PO’s hands from Return of the Jedi. There’s even a First Order Stormtrooper helmet signed by Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Daisy Ridley. These items and those from a ton of other Hollywood properties (like Terminator, Aliens, Back to the Future, and more), will be headed to the auction block starting December 11.
