Star Wars In Real Life by Thomas Dagg
What if the universe wasn’t “far, far away”? What if the world of Star Wars was right here among us? Well, for one thing, you’d have to avoid stepping in lots of tauntaun poo. Other than that, we think photographer Thomas Dagg would be the guy to capture it all.
Dagg’s magnificent merging of the real world and Lucas-created creatures and spacecrafts results in some frame-worthy portraits. Among the black & white photos are an AT-AT Walker rumbling through a snow city; Han Solo in carbonite left out by the dumpster; a young man running across the street with Yoda on his back; a baseball game with a batter about to swing his light saber; a droid peering into a window at a hot blonde; and perhaps most triumphantly, Jar Jar’s lifeless body laid flat out by the garbage. We have a hunch none of these scenes will be in The Force Awakens.
