When you’re looking to get plastered, you could care less what your glass looks like. But, when you want to experience all of the flavors and aromas the brewery intended for their beer, you want the Spiegelau Stout Glass.

Last year the renowned glass maker introduced an offering designed specifically for hoppier IPAs, and this year they’re giving stout the same treatment. The glass is constructed from ultra pure quartz mineral to help bring out the true color of the beer, but it’s in the shape where the real magic happens. Teaming up with both Left Hand Brewing Co. and Rogue, Spiegelau shaped the glass in a manner that drives the foam up into the larger part of the glass from the base, and opens up with a wide mouth to really amplify those sweet aromas. Of course a glass like this isn’t exactly necessary for enjoying your favorite stouts, but it does make it that much better. [Purchase]
