Back in July, SPIDI unveiled its Mission-T H2Out jacket, a highly-modular, three-in-one item engineered to take on just about any adventure riding conditions imaginable. And for its latest piece of gear, the Sarego-based firm has once again delivered an immensely versatile all-in-one item, this time designed to be the ultimate all-weather commuter riding jacket.
Christened the “Beta Evo Primaloft,” the jacket sports a breathable and fully-waterproof, three-layer laminate H2Out membrane shell with a long, parka-style cut extending down just below the belt. In addition to being equipped with a waterproof zipper, multiple waterproof pockets, a removable hood, a knitted cuff, and pockets for accommodating Level 1 and Level 2 elbow, shoulder, and back armor—available from SPIDI as an optional add-on—the shell also features a removable 100-gram Primaloft insulated liner that contains 80% post-consumer recycled material. Not only can this insulated liner be worn by itself when on or off of the bike, but it also enables the Beta Evo Primaloft to lend itself to just about any weather conditions that you might face on your commute. Available now, the SPIDI Beta Evo Primaloft is priced at $539.
