4K TV technology growth is most certainly being stifled by the lack of 4K content available on the market, but that’s not to say that electronic brands aren’t working their way into the space. While affordable 4K TVs rank high on the list for consumers at this point, Sony decided to create what could be the most awesome setup for your bachelor pad in the Sony 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector – far from affordable.

Rather than destroying the ceiling of your home, this Sony projector is situated on the floor, and blends in as a high end, contemporary piece of furniture. The device has been equipped with 4 HDMI ports on the backside, 2 speaker units, and is capable of projecting 4,000 pixels of horizontal resolution right onto the walls of your home (up to 147-inch). It even comes with 2 storage cabinets on either side of the projector to store misc electronics, ensuring that your home stays clutter free. Of course this much opulence will cost you a pretty penny. Sony plans on selling the projector for roughly $30,000. [Purchase]
