Solgaard Carry-On Closet

A suitcase is not the same thing as a closet or a dresser. Bureaus neatly organize your clothing, while suitcases simply pack them to go. Thanks to Solgaard Designs’ Carry-On Closet, however, that line has been blurred a bit.

This suitcase looks and preforms much like a common piece of luggage — with its durable polycarbonate shell, gunmetal aluminum frame, and TSA approved lock — but it has one major trick up its sleeve. Rather than offering some open space to stuff your clothes in, the suitcase has an assortment of mesh shelves in which you can place your shirts, slacks, and toiletries. Those shelving units keep your clothes in place during your trip, and can easily expand into an on-the-go closet once you’ve arrived at your Airbnb or hotel. All of this is to say – you’ll be able to actually find the threads you took the time to pack. Right now you can pick this 38L suitcase up for $190.

Purchase: $190
