Solar Kettle

Another device made specifically for the great outdoors, the Solar Kettle allows you the ability to boil water by using nothing more than sunlight.

The compact thermos like bottle is simple to use, and is capable of boiling enough water for three cups of coffee or tea, a bowl of soup, and even a boiled egg. Unfortunately there is no exact time given for the boiling process due to the fact that how sunny it is outside can change the amount of solar energy produced. Designed by British engineer James Bentham, the Solar Kettle can also be used in survival situations to sterilize river water, snow, and even desalinate sea water to make them all safe for drinking. You can purchase yours from Amazon.
