Snow Peak’s GORE-TEX Cordura Sneaker Boot Is Ready For Any Adventure

Category: Gear

Japanese gear brand Snow Peak knows a thing or two about outdoor-ready design. And New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio has nailed footwear down to a science. So when the two brands decided to come together, it should come as no surprise that the result — the R_C4 sneaker boot — was stunning.

There is so much beneficial tech built into this outdoor footwear that we’re not even sure where to start. That includes uppers built from ultra-durable Cordura ripstop fabric and finished with GORE-TEX waterproof membranes — meaning these can be worn in any weather conditions. They also boast chunky Vibram outsoles for superb grip on any trail and at any speed. And they’ve got built-in Encap Reveal midsoles with Abzorb foam for superb impact absorption and comfort, speaking to their trail-running nature. The whole shoe is finished off with clever detailing and a secure, magnetic Fidlock buckle for the utmost security in motion. Pick up a pair while they last for $300.

Purchase: $300
