There’s no better feeling than sitting around the campfire on a chilly autumn evening, wrapped in a cozy blanket. However, doing so invites the opportunity for errant sparks and, as a result, burnt holes. Recognizing a unique opportunity for collaboration, industry-leading experts Snow Peak and Rumpl have come together for a top-notch technical outdoor blanket.
They’re calling it the NanoLoft Takibi Blanket, taking the middle part of its name from the Japanese word for bonfire. Its super-soft topside is made from a combination of Snow Peak’s Recycled FR ripstop material and fire-resistant aramid. But that’s not all — it also features a DWR finish to help keep you dry. Lined with Rumpl’s recycled NanoLoft insulation and a built with a handy loop to secure it around your body, it’s pretty much a purpose-made campfire essential. Starting October 19th, the NanoLoft Takibi Blanket will be available at Snow Peak and Rumpl’s online stores for $300, as well as at their Portland and Soho retail locations.
