Snow Peak’s First Snow-Ready Active Capsule Is Full Of Winterized Staples

Snow Peak is an interesting outfit. Despite its name, the outdoor brand has never introduced a full-fledged, winterized clothing collection, giving us the impression that they’d rather dabble in the intricacies of the spring, summer, and fall. Now, much to our surprise, they’ve paired with Mountain of Moods for their first-ever snow-focused Winter Activewear capsule — a collection of jackets, pants, long-sleeved shirts, and fleece.

The Japanese brands are no strangers to the outdoors, and it shows in the undeniable quality of their garments. The recently-revealed Winter Activewear collection brings seasonal staples like the MM washable Wool Knitted Cap, Thermal Boa Mittens, printed long-sleeve, and a fleece neck warmer to the forefront, promoting comfortable warmth during the country’s snowy season. A pair of flexible, insulated shorts work alongside a relaxing Boa Fleece Pant to provide ample leg coverage while out and about, but the collection’s Flexible Insulated Jacket, 3L Bib Pants, and FR Riders Down top layer steal the spotlight thanks to their specialized materials. Alongside the series’ regular garments, Snow Peak has also introduced a handful of FR (flame retardant) offerings, helping to protect against ignition through the utilization of woven aramid fibers and 3L waterproof fabrics. Head to Snow Peak’s website to see the entire collection, which starts as low as $55.
