In an effort to bring its customers closer to nature and to provide a more accessible camping experience, Snow Peak has opened numerous campgrounds scattered across its native Japan in Niigata, Osaka, Hokkaido, Kochi, and Oita. And now, for the first time, the Japanese outdoor brand is bringing this experience to North America with the creation of a sprawling new 25-acre site in Long Beach, Washington known as “Snow Peak Campfield.”

Nestled along the Pacific Northwest coastline of Washington — some three hours southwest of Seattle and two hours northwest of Portland — the campsite offers both empty plots for tents, as well as minimalist cabins and a slew of available outdoor gear rentals. A short trek from several local beaches and trailheads, the Campfield location also boasts a cafe and a general store. Snow Peak also says that bringing pets and family is not only allowed, but encouraged. Snow Peak’s Long Beach Campfield location is scheduled to launch in time for the 2023 camping season, though reservations will open in 2022. The site will also be available to visit without reservations on a limited first come first serve basis. To learn more or to sign up for updates, you can check out Snow Peak’s website linked below.
