Slow Cabins In Belgium
Our world is rigorously fast-paced. Like a machine with whirring gears, it can wind you up, leave you neurotic and erratic and unable to relax. A Belgian startup is offering a respite from the fast life in simple but beautiful cabins, tucked quietly in the remote crannies of serene – and secret – natural locations. Live life in the slow lane with Slow Cabins.
Slow Cabins offers three cabins, with three disparate purposes. A large and spacious cabin called “Time For Family” offers a comfortable locale for a family vacation. A rainwater collection system, dry toilet, and a decking area makes it comfortable for a bigger group. “Time For Two,” is cozier, built for two people to get away from everything, except each other. Lastly, the “Time For Focus” cabin is the desert island of the bunch. A true fortress of solitude, this little cabin offer guests the chance to slow down, and, as the moniker suggests, focus. Slow Cabins is continually shifting the locations of their cabin-sites, and they like to keep the locations secret, even from prospective guests. Perhaps they feel that untethering guests from their familiar sensibilities – like their concepts of time and location – conduces an experience of true relaxation. Previous images indicate that Slow Cabins tends to select beautiful settings for their cabins, so signing away your vacation doesn’t seem like the worst thing.
