You won’t find any shortage of custom Harley-Davidson Sportsters out there, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t beautiful new creations to behold. The latest we’ve spotted is this 2012 Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight By Winston Yeh of Rough Crafts. But Yeh didn’t create this café race for the Taiwan-based company, he did this for himself.
Widening as it goes from back to front, the “Slate Hammer” features an S&S Super-E carb conversion for extra airflow, a replica Dunstall GT half-fairing, fabricated headers, a custom-made Spark muffler, specially-forged aluminum wheels anodized in black, and a blacked-out engine with Rough Crafts’ finned air cleaner and 2 Abnormal Sides’ pushrod collars. The diamond-quilted leather seat is courtesy Back Drop of Japan, and it all gets topped off with a neat grey paint job. [Via]
