SkyBell Wi-Fi Video Doorbell Version 2.0

Peepholes have been around for about as long as we can remember, letting you see who’s at the door before actually opening it. The team at Skybell decided it was due time to add some technology to the mix. Meet their innovative Wi-Fi Video Doorbell Version 2.0.

Adding new functionality, Version 2.0 sees a ton of improvement’s over the brand’s original, award winning offering. The latest version features improved Wi-Fi performance, enhanced memory, refined camera, motion sensor capabilities, and more. The device replaces your doorbell, and gives users the ability to answer the door remotely using their smartphones. It’s simple to setup (syncs to your home’s Wi-Fi network), and even easier to use. Visitors will ring the Skybell, and the company’s cloud-based server will alert you through your smartphone, letting you view the person at the door without them seeing you. There is however 2-way audio for verbal communication.

The best part is you can see who’s at your front door from any location, you don’t even have to be home. You can also put your Skybell on silent mode for those do not disturb moments (or for those of you have dogs that go crazy when they hear the bell), and visitors don’t have to ring your bell to be picked up the camera, they simply have to trigger the built-in motion sensor. But what if there’s a blackout? Fret not, this device comes with a backup battery to continue working, even when the power is down. [Purchase]
