Skull Armchair by Gregory Besson

It never hurts to embrace morbid pieces of furniture or art. I mean, we’re all going to die anyway – why not play around with the optics of it a bit? For those who aren’t satisfied with the copy of Wisconsin Death Trip or Crime and Punishment on their bookshelf, there is the gigantic Skull Armchair by Gregory Besson.

Based in Paris, artist and craftsman Besson has built out this gigantic fiberglass chair while giving it an icy white bleached look. As aggressive as this piece of furniture is, the high quality leather and cushioning makes it supremely comfortable. Each chair is individually made, and as result, unique. You can pick up one for yourself or a particularly macabre person in your life if you are willing to throw down $35,000. [Purchase]
