Simpson Mod Bandit Motorcycle Helmet

When it comes to motorcycle helmets, there are some brands that offer up an unmistakable signature model. For Simpson, that distinction belongs to their somewhat sinister-looking Bandit motorcycle helmet. And that skull-protecting icon has just gotten a wonderful modular update.

Called the Mod Bandit, this version of Simpson’s iconic helmet still boasts all the same styling we’ve come to expect out of it, but with a few convenient and modern tweaks. For starters, the entire front shield — visor and all — can now lift up and out of the rider’s way, offering relief and breathability to anyone caught in slow-moving traffic. Of course, it can fold right back down again for superb protection when the roads clear back up. It also has internal pockets for the addition of a Bluetooth headset system, still features a lightweight composite shell and EPS inner, and has a removable and washable liner. It can be yours for $480.

Purchase: $480
