Shaddai Mega Yacht
People watched Pimp my Ride for two reasons, for the ridiculous modifications that were given to the cars, and for Xzibit’s entrances. Even when the modifications people received on their cars seemed impractical, you couldn’t deny that you too wanted an Xbox, tv, and massive subwoofers in your trunk. Gabriele Teruzzi’s mega-yacht concept, christened “The Shaddai”, has much the same appeal as the great early 2000’s MTV show.
Measuring in at nearly 500 feet long and boasting not one, not two, but four pools, this yacht is the ultimate in opulence. As if all those pools were not enough (of course it isn’t), the British designer let his imagination soar, including an infinity pool resting atop a 125 foot tower that provides maximum comfort, luxury, and maybe a little vertigo. On the main deck, passengers on this vessel can hang out in beautifully designed cabins, grab drinks, and even take a dip in a hot tub under the glass-bottomed infinity pool. The yacht, essentially a giant monument to the phrase “why not?”, seems to defy simple physics…and yet, we can’t deny that we want a pool on our pool in our boat, too.
