Seiko has found itself at the forefront of noteworthy collaborations throughout the years, with their newest partnership embracing horological fans around the globe. The watch brand has just unveiled a highly anticipated release in partnership with Northern California accessory distributor, Topper Jewelers — bringing a limited-edition favorite to the consumer wristwear market.
The Seiko Prospex Diver SPB107 was already a cult favorite among die-hard Seiko connoisseurs, and now, the minimalist watch will be the lucky recipient of a blacked-out new special-edition colorway. The device will retain its tried and true 44mm case, which has been reevaluated in a handsome black stainless steel finish, alongside upgraded LumiBrite hands and detailing that lasts 60% longer than previous offerings. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal face will house the watch’s 6R15 movement and feature a 50-hour power reserve, 200 meters of water resistance, and a silicone strap for comfortable wear. This special edition offering will be limited to only 500 pieces over the course of its release and will retail for around $1,000 (after a healthy $500 deposit, of course).
