Bringing a childhood dream to life last year with their electric go-kart, Segway Ninebot took the spotlight with gusto. Today, the Beijing tech company brings us the AI-powered Segway Ninebot KickScooter T60.
Thanks to its advanced AI system, the T60 can drive autonomously to the rider and back to its charging station. It utilizes a vision-based navigation technology for guided and autonomous piloting and can be controlled remotely via cloud technology. With the assistance of camera and ultrasonic sensors, the KickScooter can avoid obstacles on your route. And it’s also programmed with safety precautions for crossing at traffic lights, ensuring your safety. The sleek city ride is expected to launch in 2020 with testing starting next month. Ninebot is looking at Uber and Lyft to pick up the T60, as both companies are planning to launch their scooter divisions sometime next year. Each KickScooter T60 will have a hefty price tag of $1,420.
