Sea To Summit Ultralight Hammock

Category: Gear

Fellow outdoor enthusiast, meet the world’s lightest packable hammock from Sea to Summit. It’s a perfect option for the spring/summer day hike or camping trip where carrying an overweight backpack is not on your to-do list. And since it’s from Sea to Summit, you know the quality is there alongside the attractive nature of this piece of gear.

All told, the Ultralight Hammock weighs in at a barely noticeable 4.9 ounces thanks to the Ultralights Nylon 66 monofilament fabric construction. And while it may boast a feather-like weight and appearance, the hammock is still as strong as ever, rated at 300 pounds. It can fold down into a tiny packable ball held together by a lightweight aluminum 6061 buckle, and the piece’s triple bar-tacked webbing loop ensures a durable product for years to come. Unfolded the Ultralight measures 8.5-feet in length by 4-feet in width and is available in both yellow or gray. No word on pricing but it will become available in March of 2017. [Purchase]
