SCG Unveils Their Updated Twin-Turbo 750HP Le Mans Hypercar

Though they’re not quite a household name, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has made a significant impact on the automotive world — especially when it comes to race cars and wild concepts. And their latest project looks primed to make another big dent, as the company has big plans to use it to dominate next year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Called the SCG 007 LMP1 Hypercar (a mouthful, we know), this near-finalized project looks less like a real race car and more like something you might see driven around by Speed Racer himself. And, according to the brand, it’s got the specs to match — including 750 horsepower courtesy of a rumored 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. There’s little other information presently available, but we do know that SCG is planning to have a working, road-ready prototype built for road testing in early 2020. And they’ll be building a limited number of 007s for customers, including a select few street-legal ones. We’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for more information as it emerges.
