For the overland vehicle-driving chefs who always desired to bring the miracles of the kitchen to the outdoors, Overland Kitchen just released a portable unit to fulfill those desires. Now, no matter where the adventure may take you, you’re never too far from a five-star meal.
Known as the Scout Overland Kitchen, the unit is designed to provide campers with all the kitchen luxuries they enjoy within the safety of their homes. Designed by California-based Scout Equipment Co., each kitchen comes equipped with a three-tiered drawer system, a faucet, soap dispenser, sink, 2.5-gallon water tank, paper towel holder, cutting board, Epicurean and Good Cook knife seat, and Blue Sea Systems electrical panel with USB charging ports and voltmeter.
It easily houses any camping grill you may have and folds up in seconds that makes clean-up easy and simple. Right now it fits Toyota and Jeep vehicles exclusively but additional modularity for other vehicles is expected in the near future. Each Overland Kitchen is custom built-to-order with prices starting around $5,500. [Purchase]
