Scary Cereal Box Mascots by Guillermo Fajardo

We love munching on a bowl of cereal these days just as much as we did in our childhood, but we certainly don’t know how we’d feel about all those cereals had Guillermo Fajardo been responsible for creating the mascots.

The artist has reimagined some of our favorite cereals, but this time around the mascot isn’t some happy Cap’n or friendly tiger. The Lima, Peru based graphic designer and illustrator took four of our favorite cereal characters and transformed them into something out of horror movie. The terrifying cereal collection includes Frosted Flakes, Cap’n Crunch, Trix, and Count Chocula. Fajardo describes the project as being “based on a personal point of view, taking all my child memories and turning them into a new sarcastic and adult vision, remaking all the cereal gang.” Check out all of the different cereal boxes from the series below.
