Saul Bass Style Game of Thrones Posters

American graphic designer Saul Bass was the king of film posters (among other contributions and talents) during his 40 year career in Hollywood.  Although he never lived to see his 76th birthday, designer Fernando Reza celebrates what would be Bass’ 93rd birthday this past week with a set of Game of Thrones Posters inspired by Bass.

While it’s not the first set of posters we’ve seen playing off the popular HBO series, it’s certainly among our favorites.  Reza applied Saul Bass’ iconic characteristics and styling to a modern day series, and the end result is something that both fans of Saul Bass and Game of Thrones will appreciate. All of the prints are also available for purchase, but are limited to only 35 copies each.
