Polaroid might be one of the world’s most prolific vintage photography outfits, but that doesn’t mean that they’re ready to fade into obscurity. In fact, over the past few years, the company has taken drastic measures to ensure a solidification of its identity with the current generation. Now, they’ve taken their campaign a step further by joining with the lauded bag maker, Sandqvist, for a limited-edition style capsule.
The Sandqvist x Polaroid Limited-Edition ‘Reframed’ Collection will feature four unique items, each of which will adopt the photography giant’s recognizable suite of colors and hues. In all, the collection will consist of a “bum bag,” camera strap, backpack, and tote, calling upon water-repellant coatings and a ballistic-weave construction to keep them both formidable, and functional. The collection’s larger bags will feature different characteristics unique to their collaboration with Polaroid, including customized slots and compartments built to house the brand’s cameras, photos, and accessories.
