Samsung’s Next-Gen Flagship TVs Feature Groundbreaking QLED Display Tech

As electronics manufacturers have continued to improve their television technology, it’s turned into something of a developmental arms race. For though we’ve only recently embraced OLED displays over the veritable LCD, they’ve already become an obsolete innovation. Hot on the heels of LG’s Mini LED TV announcement late last year comes Samsung with its own answer.

They’re calling it NEO QLED, and as the name suggests, it’s an iteration on their existing Quantum LED offerings. With the update comes the all-new Mini LED display ensuring that darks are even darker and brights are even brighter. What’s more, it features Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology and Neo Quantum Processor, a combination that allows for unmatched precision in backlighting control and ensures that content appears as it was intended. But that’s not all — thanks to the addition of AI and deep learning, it can even optimize the picture to the size of the display, no matter what the input looks like. And when you consider that it comes with the new Infinity One Design for a nearly bezel-less screen and Object Tracking Sound for dynamic audio output, Samsung’s really upped the ante this time. Available in 4K and 8K models later this year.
